Head of Formulation & Process R&D
Supervisor of ESR12
Background
Dr. Susanne Page is currently working at F. Hoffmann – La Roche Ltd in Basel (Switzerland), where she is responsible together with her team for the formulation and process development of clinical service forms and market formulations for synthetic molecules. She studied Pharmacy at the Technical University Braunschweig (Germany) and did her diploma thesis at Jenapharm GmbH in the field of buccal delivery systems. Prior to joining F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd in Basel in 2002 as a Formulation Scientist, she completed her Ph.D. thesis investigating a new film coater at the Martin-Luther-University of Halle in the working group of Prof. Kleinebudde. Her research interest is focused on biopharmaceutical aspects as well as in the development of poorly soluble drug substances especially with focus of new technologies and amorphous systems. She is involved in the EU funded research programs AGePOP (PI) and InPharma (PI). Susanne is inventor/co-inventor of formulation patents, co-author of scientific book chapters and journal articles. She has supervised several internship programs as well as one PhD student.
