InPharma-In-School organised by Kristian Beran (ESR 7) and Laurin Zöller (ESR 8)

Organised by Kristian Beran (ESR 7), and Laurin Zöller (ESR 8), a 2-week high-school internship program was conducted as part of the InPharma consortium’s outreach efforts. From 9th to 20th October 2023, the program aimed to provide a high school student (9th grade) with insights into pharmaceutical research, particularly focusing on the projects undertaken by the involved ESRs.

The program included presentations by the ESRs, introducing the students to the research environment and highlighting the significance of their work in pharmaceutical sciences. Moreover, the student had the chance to actively participate in basic laboratory work relevant to the experiments conducted by the ESRs, gaining hands-on experience in research methodologies.

Upon completing the internship, the student shared experiences and learnings with class and teachers, thereby extending the reach of the program and promoting interest in Chemistry and Pharmacy as potential career paths.
